Ishikawa Vs Sitthichai for WBC interim title in Thailand

On Friday at the Singmanassak Muaythai School, Pathum Thani, Thailand, Japanese Umi Ishikawa (11-3, 9) will face Thai Sothita Sitthichai (10-3, 3) for the World Boxing Council interim straw-weight title.

The two fighters met last August, with Ishikawa winning in the third round to claim the WBC Silver Straw-weight title, adding this title to her collection, the WBC Asia Straw title and the WBC International Atom title.

This Thursday the official weigh-in of the evening took place. Ishikawa weighed  47.3 kg, while Sitthichai was 47.0 kg.
