Samir Ziani pointedly defends International WBC Silver title

In La Salle Vallier, Marseille, France, Samir Ziani successfully  defended his World Boxing Council Super Featherweight International Silver title by defeating Jordan Rodriguez by decision.

Ziani, who won the WBC international silver belt by defeating Mexican José Macías Enríquez on points last December 15, made his first successful defense of his title.

With this victory, Samir added to his record his 34th victory in 36 fights and his 14th in a row; in addition to getting even closer to his goal: competing for the WBC super featherweight world title.

The supervisor of this fight was the Vice President of the WBC, Houcine Houichi.
