Undisputed super middleweight champion, Saúl “Canelo” Álvarez, will defend his belts against fellow Mexican Jaime Munguía, on May 4 in Las Vegas, Nevada.

Recently, the undisputed 168-pound champion was interviewed by TUDN and this is what he commented regarding his fight with Jaime Munguía:

“Jaime is hungry. He throws a lot of punches, and that makes him a dangerous rival who is going to leave everything in the ring. That’s when good fights happen.

“He has earned this place with the fights he has fought , the person he is and it also makes me very proud to be able to say that another Mexican earned the opportunity. It is the first time in history that two Mexicans will be seen fighting for the four world titles and that makes me very proud.
