Hop, Skip and Jump! “Chapulín” Salas aiming for the WBC Youth Intercontinental title

Keenly ambitious to make history, José “Chapulín” Salas, one of the boxers who debuted in November 2020 via the BXRUMBLE promotion and supported by the Jackie Nava Gym training team, will compete for the World Boxing Council’s Intercontinental Youth bantamweight title when he faces Luis “Kiko” Guzmán.

The fight will take place on April 19 at the Fausto Gutiérrez Moreno Municipal Auditorium in Tijuana, Baja California, Mexico, on a card that will be broadcast by ESPN KnockOut.

Salas’ most recent fight was on October 21, 2023 in Tijuana, against Florentino “Violento” Hernández, winning by unanimous decision.
