The World Boxing Council and its President Mauricio Sulaimán, deeply mourn the passing of Scottish boxer Willie Limond.
Limond, who has died aged 45, was a British and Commonwealth champion in the super lightweight division.
In his career he faced fighters of the quality of Amir Khan, Anthony Crolla, Erik Morales, Ricky Burns, among others.
We send our deepest condolences to the Limond family at this difficult and sad time.
