“Fillip” for WBC ring official Fillemon Mweya

The Namibia Professional Boxing Board of Control organized the 2023/2024 boxing premier in the capital city of Windhoek.

The event took place at the National Theater of Namibia on March 16, with 5 award categories.
WBC and ABU referee and judge Fillemon Mweya won the ring official of the year award.

“It is an honor for me to receive this recognition. I would like to thank the WBC and ABU for helping to improve my skills. I attended several conventions and seminars organized by WBC and ABU and at each one I have learned a lot,” said Fillemon.
