The WBC mourns the passing of Sulio Sánchez Narváez

The WBC and its President Mauricio Sulaimán deeply our. the death of Sulio Sánchez, former boxer and beloved brother of Salvador Sánchez Narváez.

Sulio was national champion of Mexico and retired with a record of 11 wins, 3 losses and one draw.He was the brother of the also deceased Salvador Sánchez, whose death is commemorated year after year in his native Santiago Tianguistengo, State of Mexico.

Sulio will always be remembered as a charismatic, kind, loyal and hospitable person and dedicated to his family, but even more so as the great human being. How we will miss him!
