Magnesi and Rikiishi weigh their options

Italian Michael Magnesi (23-1-0, 13 KO), WBC Super Featherweight Silver champion, will defend his belt for the second time, and on this occasion against Japanese Masanori Rikiishi (14-1-0, 9 KO) on Friday night at the Palazzetto Romboli in Lazio, Italy.

Magnesi won the belt on March 31, 2023, when he defeated Argentine Ayrton Osmar Giménez by unanimous decision in 12 rounds, in Valmontone, Italy.
While the Japanese Rikiishi comes to this meeting as super featherweight champion of the Eastern and Pacific Federation and as Asia-Pacific monarch of the WBO.

Both breezed the official weigh-in and in tip top shape.
