Rey Vargas and Nick Ball weigh in

Mexican Rey Vargas, featherweight champion of the World Boxing Council, fights British Nick Ball in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia on Friday, and the bumper Bill also features the heavyweight clash Anthony Joshua and Francis Ngannou.

Vargas, 33 years old, who has crafted a record of 36 victories in 37 fights, with 22 by knockout, and one loss, will make the first defense of his WBC featherweight title.

Ball, 26, is undefeated with a record of 19 victories, winning 11 of them by knockout. It’s his opportunity to become world champion. He currently holds the WBC Silver title.

This Thursday, both fighters passed the official weigh-in without problems, showing that they are in tip top condition.

Rey Vargas checked in at 125 pounds, while Nick Ball was spot on at 126 pounds.
