Understanding boxing psychology goes beyond executing an ofensive or counter attack or having discipline in training and following a rigorous nutrition plan.
Mental preparation should be another element of training, so that the boxer can improve his performance, adapted to his needs and circumstances, strengthening the boxer to visualize success, creating strategies to help him throughout the training process day by day, in a climate of passion, discipline and harmony towards obtaining better results when competing.
Having confidence in making decisions, clear and objective thoughts, to dominate the internal voices that demotivate, have the ability to return to past successes, forget about bad performances and knowing how to overcome it by recovering focus in training and Most importantly, have a winning mentality to enter the ring in the best physical, technical/tactical and psychological version.
Promoting mental health in boxers and trainers will make a difference in the search for better results, making boxing a safer sport, protecting the integrity of the fighters at all times.
