Canadian Ryan “The Bruiser” Rozicki captured the NABF cruiserweight crown by defeating former champion Alante Green, at the Hamilton, Ontario Convention Center this weekend.
It was a tough and close fight from the beginning, until Rozicki connected with power in round 10, sending him to the canvas.
“I congratulate Alante and his team, it was a very complicated fight, but I went in with a combat plan and was able to achieve the victory,” Rozicki commented.
Ryan, ranked No. 8 in the WBC, has won six straight fights since his only loss against Oscar Rivas for the WBC Bridger world title.
In the co-main event a battle of the undefeated took place. Canadian prospect John Michael Bianco (5-0, 4KOs) scored a seventh-round knockout over Vancouver’s Samuel Moses (6-1, 5KOs) for the Canadian national super middleweight title.
The event was promoted by Dan Otter’s Three Lions Promotions.
