2020 was full of great challenges and a time of learning bolstering the very challenging fight that we still face against the pandemic.

For this reason, the WBC decided to declare 2021 as the year of boxing with the firm intention of remembering and commemorating the great historical moments of boxing, but also to recognize the efforts of those who have defined our sport through their empathy, love and sacrifice..
