WBC Cares spreads smiles on Children’s Day
Memories are so that when you close your eyes and bring them back to your memory, they make you smile.
For the girls and boys of the Fray Martín de Valencia Kindergarten in Iztapalapa, México City this April 30 was saved in their memory, because they received a toy from the hands of the former boxer Narda Castro and the former champion Luis “Gallito” Ceja.
In an atmosphere of pirates and mermaids, the students approached Narda and Luis to receive a gift that today was the treasure on the island.
While “Gallito” and Narda greeted, voices could be heard saying, “I also want to be a boxer,” with the characteristic innocence of little ones that remind us that we can all dream and make them come true.
Narda and Luis thanked the girls and boys for allowing them to be part of this special day, “I want to thank you for letting me be here with you today, for me it is very important that you allow us to give you a detail and see your smiling faces.” Narda said. Luis also decided to sing the Cepillín fair song to cheer them up.
The donation that WBC Cares received from the Nuevo Jordán gym, in addition to the balls and sports equipment from the Alfredo Harp Helú Foundation, made the boys and girls of the Fray Martín Garden in Valencia very happy.
The Bailleres Foundation supports this school in the construction of the classrooms that had to be demolished when they were damaged in the 2017 earthquake.
