Baumgardner, nueva campeona indiscutible
La norteamericana Alycia Baumgardner se convirtió en la campeona Indiscutible de la división superpluma, al derrotar por decisión unánime a la francesa Elhem Mekhaled, este sábado en Nueva York.
Su desempeño esta noche fue más consistente, llevó siempre la iniciativa conectando la mayor cantidad de golpes de poder, tanto así que en el tercer round envió dos veces a la lona a Mekhaled, marcando una importante ventaja.
Las puntuaciones de los jueces fueron 99-89, 99-89 y 98-90 a favor de Baumgardner.
Con esta victoria, Baumgardner mejoró su récord a 14-1, con 7 nocauts, mientras que Mekhaled cayó a 15-2, 3 nocauts.
